Job Description: Brookside Bar & Grill is looking for a friendly and approachable Parking & Guest Services Attendant to join our team for the Summer 2025 Season. This role will be responsible for monitoring our premises and adjacent areas and interacting with patrons to provide helpful directions and reminders pertinent to Brookside and/or nearby parking areas. The ideal candidate will be confident, outgoing, and able to interact with patrons in a way that is informative and helpful. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude as they arrive, ensuring they have a great first impression of Brookside Bar & Grill. 

  • Monitor parking in nearby adjacent City property to prevent violations and ensure parking by Brookside patrons is done in a safe, efficient manner. 

  • Politely inform guests of appropriate parking in the nearby area and coordinate with valet staff as appropriate.  

  • Provide reminders for guests as to our designated smoking and alcohol-consumption areas.  

  • Work with the restaurant staff on other assignments as applicable to ensure guests have the best possible experience at Brookside.  

Qualifications: 

  • Comfortable engaging with the public in a friendly, confident manner. 

  • Ability to avoid escalation by handling situations calmly and respectfully.  

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. 

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods outdoors in varying weather conditions.  

Work Schedule: 

  • Summer Season (May-September)  

  • Approximately 1 PM-6 PM Saturdays and Sundays
